Outokumpu is seeking a cloud integration engineer to advance our Azure-based data and API platforms. You will design, build and operate APIs with APIM, and implement secure, scalable data ingestion across enterprise systems.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering, AI teams and stakeholders to drive standards, automation, and platform evolution, enabling sustainable steel and digital transformation at scale.

Competenze

• Extensive experience with Azure integration and API engineering.
• Hands-on with Azure API Management and Azure Integration Services.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture and API security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Azure data platforms (ADLS, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL).
• Strong scripting or development skills in Python, C#, .NET, PowerShell or Node.js.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).

What we're looking for

• Several years of experience in Azure integration, API engineering or cloud data ingestion.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management and Azure Integration Services.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture and API security (OAuth2, Entra ID, Key Vault).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Azure data platforms such as ADLS, Databricks, Synapse or Azure SQL.
• Strong scripting or development skills in Python, C#, .NET, PowerShell or Node.js.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/LLM integrations, RAG or intelligent automation.
• Databricks administration and Unity Catalog knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing or other complex enterprise environments.

Salary range in Finland: 4,260 to 5,330 gross. Final offer depends on candidate experience and competence.
