Job summary

Smartly.io Group is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the AI Platform Team. You will own ML-based software powering advertising experiences and work with data ranging from images to text to performance metrics.

You will join a team of senior ML engineers and data scientists, collaborating across product, engineering, and infrastructure to productionize ML applications efficiently. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production ML software.
• 2+ years delivering ML-powered services.
• 2+ years working with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Fluent in Python; knowledge of C++ or Java a plus.
• Hands-on with modern ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Strong math foundation and data pipeline experience.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build ML-based software systems for advertising experiences.
• Work with diverse data types: image, video, audio, text, and performance data.
• Contribute to and strengthen the AI platform and MLOps.
• Be a core contributor, participating in planning and team improvement.
• Impact daily life of advertisers using Smartly.
• Translate business needs into viable ML solutions.
• Share knowledge through meetings and pair programming.
• Keep up with ML innovations like generative AI and CV/NLP.
