Job description

We are seeking a skilled MicrosoftArchitect who combines deep technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively across teams, can lead development efforts, and has a solid understanding of Power BI, the Power Platform & MS Fabric.

Overview

You will take a leading role in our client projects, driving development work within our nearshore collaboration model. While our customers are in the Nordics most of our development team is based in Poland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using Microsoft tools & products.
  • Lead and contribute to development efforts across data engineering, analytics, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability.
  • Design data pipelines and governance within Fabric.
  • Optimise Lakehouse / Warehouse performance.
  • Integrate and automate workflows using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Serve as the technical bridge between Finnish clients and nearshore developers in Poland, translating architecture into actionable guidance and ensuring proper implementation.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Establish best practices for Fabric workspaces, capacities, and environments.
  • Implementing security measures, including row-level security and sensitivity labels.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a MicrosoftArchitect or similar role, preferrably with focus on Lakehouse / Warehouse / Data Engineering.
  • Strong development background in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
  • Knowledge of real-time analytics scenarios within Fabric.
  • Solid background in data architecture and BI solutions.
  • Ability to work closely with clients to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, visualisation).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools and their integration capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in leading/guiding international/remote teams and work.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English language.
Nice to Have
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform).
  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or other cloud data services.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Swedish language skills.
