Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
QOCO Systems is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering to lead the platform capability and guide the company’s infrastructure strategy. You will report to the CTO and shape the technical direction of a fast-growing aviation SaaS provider.
You will own the foundations on which all products are built, and drive reliability, security and scalable architecture while growing a high-performing, globally distributed engineering team.
Are you a platform-first engineering leader who treats platform engineering as a product, not a support function? Do you want to build the foundations that let a fast-growing aviation SaaS company move faster, safer and more efficiently? Then we would love to hear from you.
This is a leadership role first. We are looking for someone who has done this before: built platform capability, raised the bar on reliability, and built high-performing teams. You know how to hire great people, develop talent, have direct conversations when needed, and create an environment where expectations are clear and accountability is shared. The technology matters, but how you lead is what will make you successful here.
You will report directly to our CTO and be part of the engineering leadership, with real influence over the technical direction of the company.
At QOCO, we develop SaaS solutions that help global airlines and MROs (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) turn complex data into smooth operations and reduced aircraft downtime. You will own the foundations everything else is built on.
We value open, respectful communication in both directions. We give feedback early and specifically, and we would always rather hear a concern in the moment than find out about it later. That includes when the concern is about our own decisions.
You will be set up to succeed on three things:
Our leadership principle for this role: enable teams to build great products by providing a secure, reliable and scalable foundation.
We are a fast-growing company building next-generation SaaS solutions for the aviation industry, and a trusted partner of airlines, MROs and aircraft OEMs for over twelve years. Our mission is to help airline and MRO organizations unlock the full potential of their data to optimize operations and reduce aircraft downtime.
We're proud of our collaborative culture, international crew and real impact on aviation worldwide. Fun fact: we more than doubled our team size from 25 to over 65 employees between 2021 and 2025, and we now have over 15 nationalities in the crew. With our recent growth investment, most of that growth is still ahead of us.
If you're excited about platform engineering as a product, meaningful technology, and leading teams that solve real problems in aviation, we'd love to hear from you.
Join us and help shape the future of aviation.
