Overview

The KONE Assurance function provides independent and objective risk-based assurance services within KONE. Our mission is to contribute to the improvement of business operations by assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, governance, compliance and internal control systems in KONE units, functions, operations, activities and processes. The scope of KONE Assurance covers all operations and organizational levels across KONE Corporation and its subsidiaries globally.

Role

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Assurance to join our team and help drive our mission. The majority of the work means working closely in small teams where you will independently plan and execute and communicate with different internal and external stakeholders. One of the most important roles is to ensure that the key learnings, findings and actions are communicated and executed in an agreed timetable.

Responsibilities

• Engagement scoping, planning, execution, reporting and follow-up
• Analytics development and performance
• Analyzing business operations and verifying information and data
• Identifying and assessing risks and opportunities
• Evaluating controls
• Investigations and special projects
• Carrying out development initiatives to continuously improve the effectiveness of the assurance activities

Requirements

• Positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to work in a fast-paced, international team environment
• Master’s level academic degree in a relevant field
• Approx. 10 years of relevant work experience from e.g. business management, business development or management consulting
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Finnish
• Willingness to travel
• Experience working in an international and multicultural publicly listed corporation is a plus
• Ability to utilize data analytics tools as well as SAP or other enterprise resource planning tools is an advantage
• CIA or other professional qualifications are an asset

The job is located at KONE headquarters in Munkkiniemi, Helsinki.
