Job summary

SEB Finland is seeking a Senior Solution Developer with 10+ years of mainframe expertise to support fellow developers and drive a better developer experience. You will work within a collaborative team and focus on delivering high-value mainframe solutions with a business-oriented approach.

You will use Cobol, JCL, Db2/SQL and related technologies, while also exploring non-mainframe options like Linux, Docker, and API development to modernize our stack.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of mainframe experience with Cobol, JCL and Db2/SQL.
• Knowledge of Assembler, REXX, System programming or non-mainframe tech (Linux, Docker, API development).
• Strong focus on improving developer experience and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor other developers to improve efficiency and experience.
• Lead initiatives to drive innovation, change, and continuous competency growth.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-value mainframe solutions using Cobol, JCL and Db2/SQL.
