Mergero facilitates sell-side advisory for transactions in the EU with revenues up to approximately $250M and EBITDA ranging from $1M to around $50M. The company specializes in diverse transaction types such as M&A, minority equity, and co-investments. Mergero has successfully completed deals across various industries including tech, media & telecom, industrials, consumer, healthcare, business services, food & beverage, transportation & logistics, financial services, energy, and education.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an M&A Manager located in Helsinki or remote. The primary responsibilities include originating M&A clients from Mergero leads, managing the M&A process, performing financial analysis, due diligence, and developing transaction strategies. The role also involves working closely with clients to facilitate successful deal execution and maintaining comprehensive records of all transaction-related activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills, Finance, and Accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Due Diligence processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a high level of attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the listed industries is highly valued

Salary approx 4-5K€ base + commissions if goals met, with potential of yearly comp of 200-400k€.
