Senior Kafka Consultant - Tietoevry Tech Services

Role and Responsibilities

• Designing and developing streaming solutions and real-time data products
• Work with Confluent Cloud to ensure scalable and efficient data streaming with high volume
• Develop and enhance data products and async APIs ecosystem
• Provide technical assistance and collaborate with other teams which use real-time data products and async APIs.

Must-have Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Apache Kafka
• Hands-on experience with stream processing tools (Flink, KSQL, or Kafka Streams)
• Experience with Kafka source and sink Connectors
• Experience with Kafka Schema Registry and JSON schemas
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Useful Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with Confluent Cloud
• Experience with REST and async APIs usage and best practices
• Proficiency in Java, Scala or Python
• Familiarity with databases and CDC
• Familiarity with logging & monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk)
• Familiarity with Terraform and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, GitHub and Jenkins
• Strong teamwork and customer-facing skills
