Job summary

Nordea’s Safekeeping and Corporate Actions Development team is seeking a versatile Java developer with 6+ years of enterprise experience. The role focuses on building and modernising the IMSecurities integration layer, including Domain API, microservices and event-driven patterns.

You will contribute across development, analysis, integration, automation and mentoring within a large Nordic bank. The position is on-site with flexibility for home-working per Nordea guidelines, and involves

Qualifications

6+ years of enterprise software development experience.
Fluent in Java, SQL and English.
Experience with designing and integrating complex systems in a large organization.
Wamiliarity with domain understanding, trade lifecycle or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize integration layer surrounding IMSecurities, including Domain API, microservices, event-driven integrations.
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD and test automation setup.
Improve engineering quality through automating regression tests in Java, code reviews, and reducing technical debt.
Work across the full delivery chain: clarify requirements, analyze flows, translate to technical design, implement, test, deploy and support production solutions.
Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team, guiding less experienced developers on design choices and production practices.
Use AI-assisted development and automation to improve productivity and learning across the team.
