Job summary

emagine Polska in Helsinki seeks an IT Business Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders, document strategies, and translate them into technical requirements for the IT team.

You will ensure traceability during development and support testers and developers. Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, API development, data mapping and process modelling is required, with banking domain knowledge a plus. Office 3 days/week; start 2026-09-01; end 2027-02-26.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT and/or business analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and familiarity with international collaboration.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience or knowledge of API development, data mapping and process modelling.
• Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain.
• Practical knowledge of SQL, UI prototyping and design.
• Knowledge of architecture diagrams like sequence diagrams.
• Solid technical knowledge for effective collaboration with developers.
• Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to document business strategies.
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements with architects, developers, testers, business, and legal.
• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for the IT team.
• Ensure requirements traceability through end-to-end development.
• Maintain requirements documentation including use cases and quality improvements.
• Support testers and developers in the team and hub.
• Verify solutions by reviewing test results.
• Provide insights to stakeholders on effectiveness of implemented solutions.
