Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager to join our data centre team in Finland. You will provide direct operational support, ensuring health, safety, environment, quality and wellbeing standards are applied on site.

This role involves leading a small H&S team and aligning with the Campus Project Director to roll out strategy. You will stay abreast of legislation, investigate incidents, and report on safety performance while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

• 12+ years in the construction industry.
• 12+ years as a Health and Safety professional.
• CMIOSH and IEMA membership or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide H&S leadership to campus teams and demonstrate strong behaviours.
• Support Campus Project Director and Project Manager on H&S matters.
• Be the interface with clients for H&S requirements.
• Lead a campus team of 2–4 H&S managers.
• Roll out company H&S strategy and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure risk reviews, inspections, and health checks are conducted on schedule.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and share lessons learned.
• Monitor H&S performance and prepare campus reports.
• Provide cover and alert BU H&S Manager to shortages.
• Maintain liaison with enforcement agencies as needed.
• Stay updated on legislation and provide competent advice.
