Job summary

Microsoft Oy is seeking a senior professional to lead data center commissioning projects in Helsinki and across the EMEA region. You will create and maintain best practices to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery, while managing the Commissioning Agent and reviewing QA/QC.

You will drive the commissioning scope, schedule, and budget and coordinate meetings with vendor project managers. The role requires experience in data center facilities, commissioning, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Relevant technical engineering experience or degree in a related field.
• Experience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation, construction and/or commissioning.

Business Processes

Primary responsibility for Helsinki, Finland & EMEA region commissioning projects. Create and/or maintain best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions. Manage the contracted Commissioning Agent assigned to Data Center construction projects. Construction site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning process. Drive the project Commissioning process including scope and schedule. Coordinate meetings and activities of vendor project managers including integration of lessons-learned. Manage client representatives and partners to define and align on scope, schedule, and budget. Responsible for developing, managing, and reporting on scope, schedule of the Commissioning Process Projects. Reporting of the Commissioning process to management on a regular basis. Manage data center commissioning project delivery strategy in alignment with the road map strategy. Provides input to long-term delivery strategy and incorporates requirements into the project execution plans. Provide Vendor oversight and performance management (Scorecard driven). Preparation of RFP's and other project approval tools & templates.

Requirements

• Relevant technical engineering experience or any of the following OR Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation, construction and/or commissioning
• Considerable experience with Mechanical OR Electrical Test Equipment
• Strong proficiency in written, spoken and technical English, as all business operations and stakeholder communications are conducted in English.
