Job summary

u-blox is seeking aSenior Application Engineer to join a small, international team delivering exceptional technical support for GNSS products worldwide. The role focuses on becoming a technical product expert, guiding customers through design-in, documentation, and tailored solutions.

You will collaborate across Product Management, Development and Field Applications to ensure seamless adoption. The position can be located in Espoo or Tampere, Finland, with on-site and international travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering, CS or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with embedded software and/or hardware design (digital/analog).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams and customers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site and remote technical support for GNSS applications and projects.
• Act as a technical product expert, providing design-in guidance and documentation.
• Author and contribute to datasheets, integration manuals, and application notes.
• Collect customer feedback and drive product improvements with internal teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Development, and R&D during product lifecycle.
• Provide tailored technical solutions to accelerate customer adoption of new technologies.
