Job summary

Wärtsilä Energy is seeking a Senior Advisor in the Site Mobility & Compliance team with hybrid work options in Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku. The role focuses on employee taxation, immigration and social security processes, working with our global mobility vendor and internal teams.

You will lead project- and country-level compliance, ensure Wärtsilä policies are followed, and contribute to transforming our mobility processes globally while collaborating across stakeholders and supporting project

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (tax/public law/economics).
• 5–6 years of international personnel taxation experience.
• Strong understanding of posted worker and social security compliance.
• High-level knowledge of immigration compliance and GDPR in mobility.
• Good communication and project management skills.
• Fluency in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Manage assignee taxation, immigration and social security processes with global mobility vendor.
• Take project- and country-level responsibility for overall compliance.
• Support change management toward globally harmonised mobility processes.
