Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
• Solid experience designing APIs with Django REST Framework.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including query tuning and migrations on live data.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications and authorization models.
• Solid JavaScript skills and experience refactoring legacy frontend code.
• A disciplined approach to testing (API, unit and end-to-end).
• Ability to read and debug infrastructure: Docker and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Build new product features across the full stack, roughly half backend (Python, Django, DRF) and half frontend (JavaScript).
• Design and extend REST APIs.
• Refactor and modernize a large codebase safely.
• Build and maintain integrations with external tools.
• Contribute to our growing set of AI-powered features.
• Analyze and resolve performance, database and integration issues in production.
• Review code with a security mindset.
• Write automated API, unit and end-to-end tests, and ship through CI/CD.
