Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a hardware design engineer in Finland to develop FPGA-based, high-speed digital hardware and multilayer PCBs. You will implement interfaces such as DDR4, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort, and support validation and product bring-up with cross-functional teams.

You will leverage Siemens Xpedition and have responsibilities in schematic capture, PCB layout, debugging, and manufacturing support. English communication is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience in PCB and hardware design.
• Strong FPGA-based hardware design background.
• Expertise in high-speed digital design including DDR4 and PCIe.
• Hands-on with Siemens Xpedition environment and hardware debugging.
• Solid schematic capture, PCB layout, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop FPGA-based, high-speed hardware and multilayer PCBs.
• Implement interfaces like DDR4, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and DP.
• Perform hardware validation, debugging, and support bring-up activities.
