Job summary

Mercury is seeking an Electrical Senior Quantity Surveyor for Helsinki, Finland. You will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of complex engineering projects across our sectors.

Key responsibilities include reviewing contract documents, issuing inquiries to sub-contractors, monitoring scope changes and pricing, and preparing monthly progress applications. Fluency in English and a degree with 5+ years in QS/MEP are required.

Qualifications

• Academic degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
• 5+ years’ experience in a QS role or engineering role with good commercial exposure.
• Strong understanding of subcontracts.
• Experience in CSA and MEP discipline areas.
• Proficient with Excel; SAP experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand project contract documentation.
• Prepare and analyse supplier and sub-contractor enquiries.
• Issue contract documents to our supply chain.
• Monitor scope changes and pricing of variations.
• Prepare and agree monthly progress applications.
• Forecast and control sub-contractor cash flows.
