Job summary

Sandvik in Tampere is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Rock Drills Technology Unit. You will own the specification, design and development of test systems for Rock Drill Technology Units, including high-power motor drives and challenging electrical environments.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an international setting, perform commissioning and system validation, and contribute to testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior electrical engineering professional with hands-on mindset.
• Experience in industrial environments, power systems and motor drives.

Responsibilities

• Specification, design and commissioning of a drill test bench system.
• Complete electrical system design including motor drives, control and measurement systems.
• Designing systems in accordance with EN60204-1 standards.
• Participation in system testing and validation activities.
• Collaboration within Sandvik's global organization.
