Job summary

Sandvik is seeking two Order Delivery Coordinators for Tampere to join the Order Desk team. The roles cover end-to-end order handling, coordination of global transportation, and collaboration with production planning and packing departments. These temporary positions run until December 2027.

You will balance responsibilities based on experience, while ensuring accurate order processing, compliant export documentation, and strong stakeholder communication within a multinational setting.

Are you interested in working with order and delivery process within a large global company?

At our Sandvik's Underground Drilling division, we are looking for two Order Delivery Coordinators to strengthen our Order Desk team in Tampere. Both positions are temporary until the end of December 2027.

Your role

The roles cover a broad range of responsibilities within the end-to-end order and delivery process, from customer order management to outbound logistics and international deliveries. The balance between different responsibilities will vary based on your experience, strengths and the needs of the team.

Your key responsibilities

• Receiving and processing customer orders for mining and tunnelling equipment and components, including validating the commercial and technical information of orders and ensuring accurate order handling throughout the process.
• Planning and coordinating global transportation of equipment and components, evaluating transport alternatives and selecting suitable solutions based on customer, delivery and commercial requirements.
• Preparing export documentation and invoices in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, supporting our global sales organization and working in close co-operation with production planning, packing department and other supply chain functions.

Your background and what we find important

You have a suitable educational background in business, supply chain management, logistics or another relevant field, along with a good understanding of international trade and preferably some experience in order-to-delivery, order management and/or logistics processes.

Experience in customer order handling, delivery and export documentation, invoicing, customs processes, transportation or freight coordination is considered an advantage. You do not need to have experience in all of these areas, as the responsibilities can be balanced based on your existing expertise and strengths.

You communicate fluently in both Finnish and English, written and spoken, as both languages are used in your daily work.

To succeed in the role, you have good collaboration and organisational skills, a customer-oriented and proactive way of working. You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities. You enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to work independently and make decisions within your area of responsibility
