Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own electrical design and delivery from planning through commissioning. You will shape projects with autonomy as the business grows, leading design across data center developments in the Nordics and beyond.

The role requires experience with MV/LV systems, power distribution, and coordination with utilities and contractors, with up to international travel and a remote-first workflow within Europe.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background in electrical design for data centers or large-scale infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical design and delivery across new data center developments.
• Oversee power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS, and backup power systems.
• Review engineering designs to meet technical requirements and project standards.

Join a growing AI infrastructure company developing large-scale data centers across the Nordics with a focus on sustainable energy and high-performance computing infrastructure. The company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electrical design and delivery from early planning through commissioning, with autonomy to shape projects as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design and technical delivery across new data center developments.
• Oversee power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS, and backup power systems.
• Review engineering designs to ensure they meet technical requirements and project standards.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors, engineering consultants, and local authorities.
• Support projects from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Identify technical risks, resolve design issues, and ensure electrical infrastructure is delivered successfully.

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong electrical engineering background across large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning within energy, power, oil and gas, or data centers.
• Good understanding of MV/LV electrical systems, power distribution, and associated infrastructure.
• Experience leading engineering workstreams and coordinating contractors and consultants.
• Broad understanding of construction, engineering design, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and traveling internationally.

Nice to Have:

• Data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
• UPS, generators, redundancy, and high-availability power systems.
• Automation, BMS, EPMS, or industrial controls experience.
• EPC project delivery experience.Experience with utility connections, substations, and grid infrastructure.
