Job summary

ABB Drive Products in Helsinki, Finland, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team for embedded firmware development. Hybrid work model; you will ensure efficient build, test, and release activities daily.

You will manage global CI/CD infra, improve lead times and deployment frequency, and collaborate with cybersecurity, production, and software teams. A background in embedded systems and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

Solid experience with CI/CD infrastructure for embedded firmware projects.
Senior-level DevOps expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience establishing new practices across organizational boundaries.
Experience with embedded systems or test automation beneficial.
Security awareness including code signing and IEC 62443 familiarity.

Responsibilities

Maintain and develop CI/CD build infra-architecture globally for embedded firmware.
Improve metrics like lead time and deployment frequency.
Support cybersecurity with code signing, security testing and scans.
Coordinate between development and operations, including manufacturing.
Coach engineers and disseminate best practices across teams.
Collaborate with production testers, software and project teams.
