Job summary

Benjamin is a fast-growing fintech rewards startup seeking a Senior Data Scientist to elevate our MoMo ecosystem. You will frame problems, build production-ready models, and optimize rewards to drive engagement and revenue.

You will own experiments, validate causal impact, and ship models via APIs or batch jobs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship are key to advancing ML engineering at Benjamin.

Qualifications

• Strong statistical judgment with experimentation and causal inference.
• Proven track record of models delivering real business impact.
• Experience with recommendations, ranking, forecasting, uplift, or causal methods.
• Built and operated reliable production data pipelines.
• Able to ship work into production using cloud platforms and standard software dev practices.
• Clear communication and ownership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact problems and frame metrics before modeling.
• Improve rewards, incentives, and pricing to boost engagement and conversion.
• Real-time recommendation and content ranking for users.
• Own experiments and measurement across product and marketing channels.
• Turn ideas into a production data product, not just documentation.
• Build features, datasets, and evaluation pipelines for models.
• Deploy models as batch jobs or APIs with reliable training and inference.
• Mentor teammates and raise ML engineering standards at Benjamin.
