Job summary

Huhtamaki in Espoo, Finland is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and improve our shared Microsoft Fabric data platform. You will develop reusable components, ingestion patterns and AIS-based integrations to support multiple solution teams in a secure, scalable way.

You will collaborate with architects, solution teams and security stakeholders to advance automation, cost efficiency and modernization while enabling AI-assisted engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years' experience with enterprise-level data platforms or data warehouses.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (highly desirable).
• Experience with Azure Integration Services (desirable) or equivalent integration technologies, REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Clear communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate effectively with the team.
• A willingness to help others and encourage colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Platform administration and optimization of the Microsoft Fabric platform, including capacity management and cost-efficient resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain reusable platform components, frameworks, automation, templates and standardized engineering patterns.
• Build and maintain shared source-system connectivity capabilities and reusable ingestion patterns.
• Design, develop and maintain outbound data integrations using AIS.
• Improve platform CI/CD and development practices, including Git and automated testing.
