Job summary

The Campaign and Content Platforms team at Zalando Helsinki builds data platforms and pipelines that power content and campaigns for customers across multiple markets. You will own data products architecture, develop scalable ELT pipelines with Databricks, and collaborate with source-system owners to ensure robust data contracts and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks ecosystem including Unity Catalog and Delta Live Tables.
• Strong Python and PySpark skills for large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for our department’s Data Products architecture, development and quality.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using Databricks Delta Live Tables (DLT).
• Liaise with owners of source systems to define and align Data Contracts.
• Implement and oversee Data Governance and security standards within the Unity Catalog.
• Perform technical analysis to improve data quality and pipeline reliability.
• Build and maintain relationships with development teams and the Zalando Data Foundation.
• Share information on methods and lessons learned to foster a high-performance data culture.
