Job summary

F-Secure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Full-Stack) to join our New Products and Innovations team in Helsinki. You will build and scale backend systems, APIs and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with frontend engineers to ship features end‑to‑end.

You’ll work in a fast‑paced, startup‑style team, with on‑site presence 3–5 days a week and flexible hours. Expect ownership, rapid iteration and real customer impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building production‑grade backend systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and AWS cloud services.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, scalability and performance.
• Experience with frontend collaboration (React) for full‑stack work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve backend systems and APIs from prototype to production.
• Design and deploy AWS infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Drive rapid alpha → beta → production delivery rhythms.
• Integrate AI and third‑party services into user experiences.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to prototype, test and iterate.
• Ship features weekly and learn from user feedback.
