This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical experts and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
  • Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure data quality and integrity
  • Design and build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines
  • Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms

  • Support BI teams with data insights and tools
  • Contribute to our internal Data & AI community by sharing knowledge and mentoring others
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 4–5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken)
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of data architecture: data lakes, modeling, warehousing, SQL/NoSQL, ETL/ELT
  • Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, R, or Java)
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD practices
  • Ability to work in a consultative role and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in defining, developing, and maintaining data products
  • Curiosity and willingness to stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI-powered solutions
Nice To Have

  • Skills in data analytics and visualization tools
  • Domain knowledge in banking, insurance, or the public sector
  • Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to our internal data community
