Salary

Base salary ranges from €4500 - €6500 + additional bonus based on your customer invoicing.

We are looking for Senior Data Engineers to work on our customer projects, creating sustainable and innovative data and analytics solutions that generate real business value.

What the Data Engineering role is about at twoday

Data Engineers work as part of the team on customer projects, designing and developing modern, scalable data integration, data warehousing, and analytics solutions for multicultural customer companies in Finland and the Nordics, across various industries including banking, retail, forestry, and manufacturing. Data Engineering is a wide role with different specialization areas, such as:

  • Data Integrations and Pipelines
  • Data Warehousing
  • Data Architecture
  • Data Modeling
  • Analytics Engineering

Your role and focus areas will be shaped based on your previous experiences and interests.

Who you are working with

Your role is based in twoday Finland’s Data & AI business unit with approximately 200 employees in versatile roles related to modern data & analytics.

Your colleagues & stakeholders:

  • You’ll belong to a customer team, which is your home base and the team with whom you spend most of your working time
  • You’ll have the opportunity to be part of our technology practices. Technology practices are communities of professionals focused on competence and development.
  • You’ll have your own People Lead supporting your professional growth, career development, and wellbeing.
  • You’ll work closely with customers, who are mainly Finland’s largest enterprises in both private and public sectors in all major industries.
Key Skills for a Senior Data Engineer
  • Experience with cloud-based data platform solutions with Azure.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Dbt.
  • SQL and Python proficiency.
  • Consulting skills, including facilitating meetings and workshops, participating in strategic discussions with customers, proactively driving projects forward, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Many projects require Finnish language skills, but there are also projects where English is the working language.
