Leap29 is hiring a Senior Engineer for a major Data Centre project in Vaasa, Finland. The role covers site engineering, setting out, quality control, and coordination across architectural, structural and services interfaces.

On-site work is required with an attractive package and international benefits. The successful candidate will lead setting-out activities, review drawings and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure progress and compliance with project standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on major building or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of setting out, drawings, specifications and technical coordination.
• Experience with quality inspections, inspection requests, as-built documentation and technical queries.
• Ability to coordinate site activities and work effectively with subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Vaasa, Finland; right to work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage setting-out activities and technical checks for architectural fit-out works.
• Lead site engineering activities, ensuring construction aligns with drawings and specs.
• Review drawings, specifications and queries before work commences.
• Coordinate dimensional checks and interfaces between architectural, structural and services.
• Collaborate with site managers, supervisors, engineers and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Manage inspection requests, quality records, as-built drawings and documentation.
• Monitor site progress and adherence to quality standards.
• Support sequencing, material checks and short-term planning.
• Assist with quality inspections, snagging and handover documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues for timely resolution.
