Senior Data Architect

ICT Direct is looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our customer’s team and support the digitalization of industrial systems.

Strong experience in industrial environments and modern data architecture are the most important qualifications for this senior-level role. You understand the requirements, systems and data flows of industrial organizations and can translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Your responsibilities may include

• Designing modern data architectures, data models and data pipelines

• Taking technical ownership of data solutions throughout the project lifecycle

• Designing and specifying solutions in close collaboration with customers

• Guiding project teams and supporting less-experienced colleagues

• Evaluating and selecting technologies for customer projects

• Supporting presales activities together with internal stakeholders

What we are looking for

• Extensive experience in industrial environments and industrial digitalization

• A strong senior-level background in modern data architectures and data modelling

• Strong knowledge of cloud solutions and data lakehouse platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric

• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, SQL and other data-related technologies and tasks

• Ability to take technical ownership and make well-founded architectural decisions

• Ability to translate business and customer needs into scalable technical solutions

• Experience in customer-facing architecture, design or consulting work

• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills

• Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are considered an advantage

Industrial experience and broad, senior-level expertise in modern data technologies are essential for succeeding in this position.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers and projects across different industries. The assignments may cover the entire project lifecycle—from requirements definition and UX design to implementation and long-term maintenance.

The position is based in Finland, preferably in the Espoo or Tampere area. A hybrid working model may be possible depending on the assignment.
