Job summary

Tinku Latin Flavors Restaurant in Helsinki is seeking two experienced cooks to join the kitchen team. You will prepare dishes following recipes and quality standards, and may manage a shift independently when required, handling preparation through service and closing.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of kitchen experience, knowledge of Latin American cuisine, and availability for evenings and weekends. Finnish Hygiene Passport and right to work in Finland are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of verifiable experience as a cook in a restaurant kitchen.
• Experience in different kitchens.
• Spanish communication skills preferred; English/Finnish welcome.

Responsibilities

• Organise mise en place and prepare hot and cold dishes.
• Coordinate orders and plating during service.
• Check stock at closing and list ingredients for the next day.
• Carry out inventory counts and rotate ingredients to minimise waste.
• Follow food safety procedures and keep kitchen clean.
• Complete opening and closing tasks.
