We are seeking a Senior Cloud Developer, an experienced software engineer, who will contribute to the creation of a new solution in the Accounts Payable (AP) data security space including elements of document forensics, fraud and overpayment prevention and detection. Your role will be focused on building advanced data analysis software using the latest technologies to deliver large scale, high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions.

This is a hands‑on technology role, ideal for candidates seeking opportunities to both leverage their existing experience and research new knowledge areas with significant share of design and exploratory elements to their day‑to‑day tasks.

You will be working alongside other engineers and developers from the AP Assurance Team assisted by our AI Engineering team, with access to the latest technology and in integration with other Basware solutions. The product you will be contributing to is targeted at the large, well‑known enterprises.

We will be expecting you to research, design and implement key elements of the solution in collaboration with other Basware teams.

• 5+ years of commercial experience building large‑scale business data management/analytical solutions
• Solid experience in cloud‑based software development (Azure or AWS) of data‑intensive solutions
• Strong experience with data management software, including RDBMS, No‑SQL, data streaming platforms
• Understanding of cloud architecture and platform services for data and applications (compute, storage, messaging, secrets)
• Proven hands‑on experience in the application of AI‑assisted coding techniques
• Ability to analyze, understand and operate workflows and data processing software
• Proficiency in at least one of: C#, Python, SQL
• Comfortable communication in English
• Solid collaboration skills and an ability to work towards business requirements
• A pragmatic engineering mindset, focused on the delivery of reliable, maintainable, scalable and user‑friendly software

Considered as a strong plus:

• Understanding of data engineering concepts
• Previous experience in business document processing and analytics, preferably in the P2P space
• Past experience with SQL Server and/or T‑SQL
• Familiarity with multi‑tenant architectures and concepts
• Experience with AI tools, frameworks or applications is considered a strong asset.
