Job summary

Business Finland Oy, a Finnish public agency, seeks an Accounting Manager for its finance team in Helsinki. You will oversee the full external accounting function, including bookkeeping, financial statements, consolidation, asset accounting, external reporting, and taxation.

You will collaborate with the CFO and external partners to ensure accurate financial management and continuous system improvements, with a focus on Finnish and English communication and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in external accounting tasks.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Accuracy and systematic approach.
• Good collaboration and interaction skills.
• Fluent Finnish and good English language skills.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for external accounting entity: Bookkeeping and financial statements, consolidation of the group (2 subsidiaries), fixed asset accounting, external reporting, taxation.
• Act as the contact person for auditing together with the CFO.
• As the primary user of the accounting system, you are responsible for the system's maintenance and development with an external partner.
• Management of accounts receivable together with an external partner.
