As our Payroll Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for payroll processing in your designated country. You’ll lead a team to ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery, aligned with local legislation and contractual Service Level Agreements. Your role spans coordination, compliance, client interaction, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing using SAP SuccessFactors (EC, ECP, PCC).
• Ensure compliance with local payroll and tax laws, and labor practices.
• Lead the payroll team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Handle client queries and participate in service reviews.
• Act as the main contact for clients and local authorities.
• Monitor and improve payroll performance and quality.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for country-specific payroll.
• Oversee system testing, configuration changes, and updates.
• Lead onboarding of new clients, including SIT, UAT, and parallel payrolls.
• Maintain payroll documentation and country-specific solutions.
• Support and train Payroll Administrators and Specialists.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to product development.
• Conduct internal training sessions to upskill teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8–12 years in payroll, preferably in an outsourcing environment.
• Expert in SAP SuccessFactors (EC, ECP, PCC), incl. split and shadow payrolls.
• In-depth knowledge of local payroll legislation and HR practices.
• Strong client management and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and team coordination experience.
• High discretion and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication in English and fluency in Finnish is a must.

Preferred Skills

• Payroll certifications (e.g. CPP, PCP) are a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced, improvement-focused environments.
• Familiarity with EC modules (Time, Compensation, Workforce Management).
• Integration knowledge across HRIS, Finance, Benefits, and Time systems.
• Prior experience in shared services or payroll outsourcing models.
