Role

Sales Engineer

Do you have experience in technical sales and find it exciting to create and maintain new customer relationships? Do you enjoy working independently in the Finnish market while being part of a large international organization? Then this could be your next job.

The industrial equipment rental department is looking for a Sales Engineer who will be excited to build relationships, advise, and deliver solutions to companies in southern Finland. You will report to the Sales Manager for the Nordic region and be part of the nine-person Atlas Copco Rental team in Finland, while also being part of the wider Atlas Copco organization in Finland and Europe. Our Finnish office is located in Vantaa, and you will be based there if you live nearby, but you have the possibility to work flexibly in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities
  • Identify segments and areas in Finland with growth opportunities for Specialty Rental solutions related to the rental of compressors, generator solutions, nitrogen, and steam boilers to industrial customers.
  • Identify potential customers, plan and organize sales activities and customer visits, and proactively find and establish new customer accounts.
  • Provide information and respond to customer inquiries; prepare presentations showing product solutions and benefits; prepare quotes using the company\'s digital quotation module.
  • Consult with technical experts within the organization; prepare sales reports; update sales information in the CRM system.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, internal e-learning, and professional networks.
Qualifications
  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably related to the industry.
  • Strong presenting and selling skills with the ability to understand technical solutions.
  • A technical background is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to establish strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers; develop business in new areas; communicate effectively in Finnish and English.
  • Ability to work independently and leverage colleagues\' skills; highly driven, flexible, and able to operate in a large international organization across several countries.
  • Team player who is excited about spending significant time on the road and with customers; occasional travel to department headquarters in Belgium may be required.
