Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is hiring a Unit Nurse to supervise unit staff and coordinate resident care with the interdisciplinary team, including families. This temporary part-time role runs for 3 months with potential extension.

The position requires a Registered Practical Nurse with a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, CPR certification, leadership ability and strong customer service. Chinese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in nursing is an asset.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Good leadership skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem solving and judgement skills.
• Superb customer service skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen.
• Ability to converse in Chinese is an asset.
