Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Remote Software Field Service Engineer to support the Nordic and Baltics region. The role will troubleshoot, guide customers, and provide IT support across VARIAN systems, with on-site visits and remote assistance as needed.

The position requires strong English communication, ITIL familiarity, and Windows-based infrastructure knowledge. Occasional travel to customer sites and on-site installations are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills in English.
Practical knowledge of Windows-based architecture and IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with ITIL and service management concepts.

Responsibilities

Assist, troubleshoot and provide technical guidance and support to customers.
Ensure detailed records of service work in company systems and maintain updated customer information.
Track issues, bugs and feature requests; coordinate with escalation teams and developers.
Collaborate with colleagues across the globe for troubleshooting, upgrades and projects.
Interact with customers on-site and remotely to diagnose and resolve issues.
Update Knowledge Base with technical guides and tips; maintain safety standards.
