Job summary

Solita Oy is seeking a Data Management Consultant to join our Master Data Management practice. You will contribute to specification, design, and implementation of data management solutions, working closely with teams to deliver value for our customers.

You will engage in MDM projects, governance, and data engineering activities, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into concrete technical actions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of master data management theory and practices (e.g., implementation styles, processes, data and process modelling).
• Experience in master data–related projects and a consultative mindset: ability to understand customer needs, challenge when needed, and translate business requirements into concrete development actions.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams.
• Relevant technical capabilities such as SQL and database skills, understanding of APIs and integrations, familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP), and good development practices (CI/CD, version control, testing).
• Familiarity with or experience in MDM tools or applications is considered an advantage
• Experience in project work or project management
• Understanding of data governance principles and change management
• Empathy, curiosity, honesty, and a genuine drive to find the best solution for the customer
• Ability to work collaboratively and bring our values—caring, a laid-back attitude, courage and passion—into everyday work
• Entrepreneurial mindset: initiative, ownership, and eagerness to develop and improve
• Interest in applying GenAI technologies within master data development is a strong plus
• Good command of English and Finnish; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage
