Outlier is seeking contributors to shape the future of autonomous agents. This freelance, remote role offers up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments. Most experts work 5–10 hrs/week, up to 40 hours, on projects that involve coordinating multi-step AI agents and live tool integrations.

You will help train agents, design evaluation rubrics, and stress-test agent behavior across real-world environments, with flexible scheduling and ongoing access to AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend engineering or AI automation experience.
• Production-grade software with modular services (data parsing, logic processing, reporting).
• Experience building for live, non-mocked environments and multi-turn system interactions.
• Attention to detail and capability to provide high-density technical feedback.
