Job summary

University of Jyväskylä invites applications for a Research Funding Advisor or Senior Specialist to support ERC and other external funding applications. The role emphasizes writing, coaching researchers, and developing funding services in a multidisciplinary university setting.

Successful candidates will collaborate with the RIS, Directors, and Rectorate, contribute to university-level applications, and engage with internal/external stakeholders to enhance research funding outcomes.

Qualifications

• You are a service-oriented candidate with experience in higher education or research organisations and external funding applications.
• You can develop and support ERC and other international and national funding applications.
• You demonstrate strong writing, mentoring, and project development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support researchers in applying for external funding and coach proposal preparation.
• Develop and improve the research funding support services and processes.
• Network with internal and external stakeholders, including EU advocacy via FUNIBRU.
• Contribute to university-level applications and cooperation with the Director of Research Services and Rectorate.
