Qualifications

• Experience in data curation within scientific or research environments, including data stewardship, governance, and master data management.
• Strong understanding of data architectures, metadata models, and semantic technologies.
• Proven ability to design automated workflows for data processing.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and capable of cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to bridge business, scientific, and technical perspectives.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data generation and curation standards across projects.
• Analyse existing datasets and interdependencies to support data access and governance decisions.
• Advance Bayer’s digital transformation by promoting data‑driven ways of working in R&D.
• Develop solutions making research data FAIR, accessible, reusable, and regulatory‑compliant.
• Support automated workflows to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Lead development and rollout of research project information solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive data quality and usability.
• Strengthen data foundations enabling data‑driven decisions and scientific innovation.
