The opportunity
We are now looking for a Quality Engineer at Hitachi Energy, Transformers business in Vaasa. You will support the definition and implementation of actions to improve quality and operating efficiency in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment within the local business. In this role, you will interact directly with our main suppliers.

How You’ll Make An Impact
– Co-operating with the main suppliers regarding of quality development and issue solving
– Analyzing problem root causes independently and together with experts
– Participating internal and supplier quality audits
– Promoting quality development by walk-the-talk method

Your background
– You hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science
– Experience of quality and/or manufacturing function is preferred
– Fluency in English and Finnish is required, both written and spoken
– Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference
