Overview

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join us in Joensuu. With your help we will ensure that our product quality requirements are met, and we learn from our customer feedback. This role will develop our production capabilities and processes, both in terms of production and supplier quality. As part of this role you will perform audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Additionally you will support our Technical Expert at the Joensuu plant in the implementation of the standards’ requirements – compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 8655.

Our Quality Engineer will manage and record changes to products and production processes. It is essential to assess the impact of changes on quality and ensure their accurate implementation. You will also have the opportunity to participate in new product development projects from a quality management perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and record changes to products and production processes; assess impact on quality and ensure accurate implementation.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Support the implementation of ISO 17025 and ISO 8655 requirements at the Joensuu plant.
  • Participate in new product development projects from a quality management perspective.
Qualifications
  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree (e.g., technology, science) or relevant studies and prior work experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiar with QA tools and methods (e.g., FMEA, Control plan, root cause analysis).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at writing documents and describing processes in Finnish and English.
  • Collaborative work style, good problem-solving skills, and ability to use IT tools and software.
  • Experience from internal and supplier audits and knowledge of ISO standards is an advantage.
