Job summary

Whitewater Group is expanding internationally and seeks a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control across mechanical and electrical projects in critical infrastructure and data centres. You will work closely with the Lead QA/QC Engineer to perform daily inspections, run ITPs, tagging, NCR tracking, and document submissions.

You will oversee fabrication and module stages, support on-site inspections and handovers, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on QA/QC inspection experience.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical walkdowns in datacentre or critical infra projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ITP/NCR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out walkdown inspections across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.
  • Support tagging process and maintain tag status records.
  • Execute ITPs and maintain quality records.
  • Raise, track, and close NCRs.
  • Review vendor/subcontractor documentation and manage submissions.
  • Support FAT activities and on-site testing, snagging, and handover.
  • Travel to client sites post-delivery to support inspections.

About The Role

As Whitewater Group continues to expand internationally across multiple markets, we are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of quality assurance and quality control activities across complex mechanical and electrical projects within critical infrastructure and data centre environments.

This role will provide hands-on inspection support to ensure alignment with the OSM build programme, working closely with the Lead QA/QC Engineer to execute daily inspection activities, including ITPs, tagging processes, NCR tracking, and documentation submissions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality standards across fabrication and module stages, as well as supporting on-site inspections and handover activities when modules are delivered to client sites. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who can work across multiple disciplines and subcontractors, ensuring consistent quality control, compliance, and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Your profile
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on QA/QC experience in an inspection role
  • Mechanical and electrical walkdown and inspection experience
  • Experience with tagging processes in datacentresor critical infrastructure
  • Experience executing ITPs and raising NCRs on live projects
  • Exposuretomulti-subcontractorandmulti-disciplineenvironments
  • DatacentreMEP, OSM, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Level 7/8 degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • WorkingknowledgeofISO 9001:2015
  • Mechanical inspections including pressure testing, pipework, and valve inspections
  • Electrical inspections including cable inspections, termination checks, and loop checks
  • Review and QA of mechanical and electrical testing documentation prior to client submission
  • Familiarity with tagging processes and asset tracking
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel for trackers and quality registers
  • Experience with SharePoint for document control and collaboration
  • Procoreexperience(Inspections,Submittals,Documentsmodules)advantageous
  • Familiarity with FAT and commissioning activitiesadvantageous
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and wellorganisedunder pressure
  • Able to work independently once direction is provided
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Willingness to travel within Europe for short-term project assignments
  • Full clean drivinglicence
