Job summary

Sine Engineering is seeking an experienced QA Lead Engineer to drive quality across products and services. You will combine hands-on test automation development with QA leadership responsibilities, mentoring teams and shaping quality strategies.

The successful candidate will design scalable automation frameworks, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Proven experience serving as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or senior quality engineering contributor.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C# and similar.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement testing strategies that increase test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded products.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution across environments.
• Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track product health and testing effectiveness.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, test reliability, and execution performance.
• Mentor team members on quality engineering best practices and automation techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams across multiple geographic locations.

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives across our products and services. This role combines hands‑on test automation development with QA leadership responsibilities, including defining quality strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical contributor who can build scalable automation frameworks while also acting as a quality leader, ensuring consistent testing practices and high‑quality releases across multiple teams and locations.

The QA Lead Engineer will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and reliable CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Skills Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test automation.
• Proven experience serving as a QA Lead, Test Lead, or senior quality engineering contributor.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C# and similar.
• Hands‑on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Robot framework, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
• Experience testing REST APIs and service‑oriented architectures.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality engineering principles.
• Experience of manual testing and understanding of it’s benefits.
• Experience of production automation testing.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to define quality strategies and drive quality improvements at the team and organizational levels.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience working effectively with geographically distributed and cross‑functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow with the team.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
• Experience implementing enterprise‑wide QA processes and test governance models.
• Experience with AI‑assisted test generation, self‑healing automation, or quality engineering tools leveraging AI.
