Job summary

Etteplan in Espoo is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team for manual testing and test automation on industrial applications. The role operates in a hybrid model, with roughly three days per week at the customer site or in an Etteplan office.

You will define test cases, support project delivery, and ensure documentation and change management are up to standard, working closely with a Scrum team and stakeholders. English fluency is essential; Finnish is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Several years of software testing experience.
• Technical degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to understand complex systems and support project execution.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently within a Scrum team.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Finnish is not required but advantageous.
• Experience with embedded device testing.

Job description

We are continuously looking for QA Engineers who can handle manual testing and test automation, to join our Espoo office and work with our industrial customers.

We operate in a hybrid working model, with approximately three days per week either at the customer site or at an Etteplan office.

Key Responsibilities

• Define test cases based on end-customer requirements
• Support project delivery and implementation activities
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and change management processes

Skills And Experience

• At least a few years of experience in software testing
• Relevant technical degree: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to understand complex technical systems and support subject matter experts in project execution
• Proactive and self-driven working style, with the ability to work independently while also building strong relationships with various stakeholders
• Working as a part of scrum team
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential, Finnish language is not required but can be an advantage
• Familiar with embedded device testing

• Broad technical background or experience across multiple engineering disciplines
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipeline management
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language commonly used in automation or testing environments, such as Python or C#
• Knowledge of Robot Framework
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
