Job summary

NextPharma in Tampere is seeking a senior QA Manager – Development to lead the Quality organization at the site. You will provide QA oversight for late‑stage development activities, process validation, technology transfer and commercial readiness, ensuring GMP compliance and successful transition from development to commercial manufacturing.

You will manage a small team (3–4 specialists) and collaborate closely with Product Development, Production, Engineering and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
• Strong expertise in GMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Leadership experience and strong communication with stakeholders.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA leadership for late-stage development activities, validation, tech transfer and commercial readiness.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ICH, FDA/EMA and other regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve development documentation, protocols and reports.
• Lead QA oversight of process validation, cleaning validation, hold time studies and method validation/transfer.
• Act as QA representative for technology transfer projects and partner with cross‑functional teams.
• Manage investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments; drive continuous improvement.
