Job summary

S&B is seeking a Project Engineering Intern in Finland to coordinate engineering and design activities on small projects and task forces. The intern will report to a Project Lead, Project Engineer, or Project Manager and contribute to documentation and coordination efforts.

The ideal candidate is an engineering student or graduate with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and the ability to assist in meetings, notes, and project records.

Qualifications

• Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. In lieu, will consider a full-time engineering student with management hiring approval.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and standards, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to present information to groups of clients, managers, designers, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Obtains a well-defined overall project scope of work from the project lead or project manager.
• Assists with facilitation of model reviews and records action items, lessons learned, and meeting notes.
• Maintains logs, distributes meeting notes to client and project team, and supports change orders related to scope, budget, and schedule.
