Job summary
Tekniq Oy is seeking an experienced Protection Relay Commissioning Specialist to join our growing team in Finland. You will work on protection and control systems for substations, perform commissioning activities, and troubleshoot technical issues, collaborating with customers and project teams to ensure safety, reliability, and availability of electrical networks.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with substation commissioning in power generation, transmission, distribution, or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of protection and control systems and relay protection principles.
- Good command of English; Finnish or Swedish is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for site presence on projects.
- Experience with protection relay systems from ABB, Siemens, GE, Schneider Electric or similar is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute protection relay commissioning activities.
- Monitor commissioning schedules, work plans, and project progress.
- Verify and test protection settings and parameters.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues identified during commissioning.
- Collaborate with customers, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Support engineering, design, and specialist assignments when required.
