Job description

We are looking for a full-time Projects and Operations Specialist for our Marine BU.

You will be part of our Project and Operations teams that cooperate with management, line organization, projects and external partners. The role is vital in strengthening Marine way of working, enabling better support and service for the internal and external stakeholders.

Your job as a Projects Specialist (50% of working time):

  • Leads assigned project management development initiatives as a project manager.
  • Planning and reporting progress of initiatives
  • Participates hands-on in the development activities.
  • Prepares related process descriptions, guidelines and trainings.
  • Makes development proposals to further strengthen the project management practices.

Your job as an Operations Specialist (50% of working time):

  • Leads Operations Management team development initiatives as a project manager.
  • Participates in the coordination and reporting of partner network companies before and after the partner company selection and handover to Elomatic project organization.
  • Prepares process descriptions, guidelines and trainings.
  • Makes development proposals to further strengthen global Marine operations practices.

The role highlights the importance of strong collaboration skills, both with two separate guiding entities and with other stakeholders. It requires the ability to independently put plans into action, as well as the readiness and willingness to personally carry out development activities rather than only delegating tasks. Success in the role also relies on the utilization of best practices in both project management and operations management. Change management skills are essential, including the ability to motivate, engage, and ensure that changes are put into practice. Above all, the role calls for a genuine interest in continuous improvement.

Your office can be either in Espoo or Turku.
