Overview

Do you have a strong customer-oriented mindset and a proven track record in successfully managing construction projects? We are strengthening our growing project organization in the Kymenlaakso region and are looking for a dynamic and results-driven PROJECT TEAM LEAD to join our Capital Project team.

ISS Project Unit is part of the Property Services, which is ISS largest business unit in terms of turnover. We provide specialist services for the development of our customers’ critical environment. The quality of the service is ensured by our company’s strong know-how, covering the entire life cycle of the property. The internal cooperation of our organization enables our customers to implement comprehensive service management solutions in a flexible manner.

In this role, you will

• Proactively manage and nurture customer relationships—continuously creating, developing, and deepening them. You identify and generate new business opportunities (e.g., new construction projects, additional work, maintenance needs, follow-up projects, etc.) within existing client accounts and upcoming regional projects.
• Understand the customer’s needs and business, consistently offering proactive and value-adding construction solutions.
• Manage the pipeline and sales process and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Carry full responsibility for the successful execution of the projects—ensuring excellent quality, schedule, budget, and safety. Oversee the operational management and resourcing of the construction sites.
• Actively monitor profitability, budget, report, and communicate within this results-oriented role.

Qualifications

• Suitable technical educational background and strong technical understanding, preferably in renovation construction or electrical power engineering.
• Experience and a proven track record in successfully managing customer relationships, projects, people, and finances.
• Confident and natural communication with various stakeholders and organizational levels.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to understand business and see the big picture.
• Good IT skills and fluency in both Finnish and English.
